North East Dartmoor has two principal towns set in beautiful countryside with great access to riverside and moorland walks. There are picturesque villages such as Drewsteignton, Throwleigh, Gidleigh, South Zeal, South Tawton and North Bovey and numerous smaller settlements in the Teign Valley. This part of Dartmoor has the slightly dryer climate, but has plenty of lush valleys, rounded hills and more gently weathered granite tors. The two towns of Chagford and Moretonhampstead both have a great range of day to day and specialist shops, doctors, dentists and veterinary surgeries, primary schools, pre school and in Chagford a Montessori school. Major shops are less than 20 miles away in Exeter.
Fowlers, who have a prominent corner office in the ancient stannary town of Chagford, cover all of North East Dartmoor and Philip Fowler has owned and run this office for 20 years after running estate agencies in Middlesex and Buckinghamshire previously.
